Meet Scholarship Winner William Bittman!

William Bittman is the son of Beth and Tom Bittman of Iron. While at Rock Ridge High School, he was in band, Knowledge Bowl, and the National Honor Society. He is active in community services such as highway cleanups, volunteering in the school in their VINE Program, and twice weekly tutoring elementary students. He played football, basketball, and baseball. During his senior year, Will was an Elks Student of the Month, as well as captain in both football and basketball. Will was selected for an Academic All-State recognition for football. Will plans on attending Mesabi Range College in their pre-engineering program and completing his Associate of Arts degree. He will then

transfer to another college to obtain an engineering degree.
