Worshipful Master Keith Harvey ordered Secretary Roen to do a roll call of the workmen of the Lodge. After roll call, he noted the following Brothers from our Lodge have not answered to their name. They have laid down their working tools of our ancient craft as they have been summoned to the Celestial Lodge above. No longer do they labor among us, guided by the three Great Lights of Masonry. Their days are now illuminated by the far greater light, which someday we will all know.
Secretary Roen then reported the following:
Dale L. Krog
Dale petitioned and joined Chisholm Hematite Lodge #274 in 1964 and remained there until being affiliated with the Virginia Masonic Lodge #264. He remained there attending Lodge when he could until becoming a member of the Eveleth Lodge by merger on October 31, 2015. Dale attended Lodge when he could. Dale was set to receive his 60-year pin at our upcoming annual Past Masters Night in 2024.
Phillips J. McFaul Jr.
Notification of Phils' death not received until 07-29-2024. Phil joined Virginia Masonic Lodge #264 and was an active sideliner being involved in Jobs Daughters and DeMolay while in Virginia until becoming a member of the Eveleth Lodge by merger on October 31, 2015. In retirement he moved to Vitoria Springs, Arkansas and received his 50-year pin in 2020 from a local lodge there as a courtesy having been forwarded to him by our Grand Lodge.
Paavo K. Kivisto
