Meet Scholarship Winner Carter Orent!

Carter Orent is the son of Jodi and Patrick Orent of Eveleth. While at Rock Ridge High School, he was in

National Honor Society, Volunteers in Education, and Knowledge Bowl. He played basketball and golf.

During his senior year, he was captain of the basketball team. Carter plans to attend Michigan Tech

University in Houghton, Michigan to study civil engineering. He plans to play some intramural basketball and

golf while there.
